Happy Fourth of July! Is there hope?

     While I haven’t really been into this Fourth this year, as I’m not feeling it with all that’s going on that I think the founders would be appalled to see.  I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday.  Watching fireworks since I was a kid has been my favorite.  I do plan on doing that at least.  Just don’t have the same joy this year.

 

      It feels odd not feeling that pride today of all days..  Anyone else have a blah-like feeling this year?  I’d like to get out of that funk about it, but haven’t been able to shake it.

    Thank you remaining civil and respectful in your post (as you always are); imo, civility and respect, which have been important points of the American spirit, have been  missing in many social media postings recently.
