The Great Gatsby Soundtrack and Born to Die by Lana Del Rey. Keep going back and forth between the two.

Keep putting Young and Beautiful on repeat. Love the song, the lyrics and Lana Del Rey voice is lovely.

*not something you will hear me say often as I'm not fond of female singers*

Right now I am being "punished" by my 9 year old grandson.

It's like hearing chalk being dragged down the blackboard. Ugh!

He just discovered One Direction....oh my god is the cd almost over. lol!

Though I did raise he right...he just said, "Of course, Nan they are not as good as Pearl Jam. Nobody is."

*maybe I can convince him to play Lego's instead....lol*

LOL.   Good job ... He like's Pearl Jam!

I was just watching That Metal Show with tonight's guest Lars Ulrich.  And so I will have to go get some Metallica!  Rock on !

What no Metallica? Everyone should own some. They are amazing. Too many favorite songs to list.

Better yet Metallica with one of my favorite artists Sully Erna from Godsmack. Both are mind blowing to see live but together. I would die.

Yes, my little man loves Pearl Jam. As does his sister who is 15. She has been singing/playing them on guitar since she was 3.

Right now....I'm listening to Avalon (Live in Boston) with Sully Erna (solo).

Metallica (also known as The Black Album) is the eponymously titled fifth studio album by the American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released on August 12, 1991, through Elektra Records and received critical acclaim. Metallica produced five hit singles that are considered today among the band's best-known songs: "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Wherever I May Roam", and "Sad but True". The band promoted the album with a series of tours. In 2003, the album was ranked number 255 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album marked a change in the band's sound to one less harsh than the thrash metal style of their previous four albums.
