I Knew You When - Bob Seger

He dedicated the album to the memory of his old friend, Glenn Frey. I Knew You When and Glenn Song are for Glenn Frey. Album also includes a tribute to Lou Reed with cover of Busload of Faith, and tribute to Leonard Cohen with cover of Democracy.

IMO, one of his very best compositions. Candice NIght wrote the lyrics to this one also. One account says that Ritchie based it on a variation of Anya from his last stint with DP. The opening riff is essentially the same, only on guitar instead of organ. I love the dash of Flamenco he throws into the solo. (Sorry Purple, this one is so much better!)

I heard a music piece on tv recently (an ice skating program) and the artist credit was given to Hi-Finesse. The music was so beautiful that I looked it up on YT. It turns out that Hi-Finesse is a company of composers who specialize in soundtracks for the motion picture / tv / advertising industries. It's great music to relax your mind or just declutter.
