Before you freak about The Beatles, know they're my favorite band. I think they're the greatest Rock band of all time. But the name... The Beatles with a pun on "beat." It's... not good.

Back in the day, I would have said maybe Buffalo Springfield, Jefferson Airplane, or Pink Floyd. But they don't seem crazy at all compared to the ones we see nowadays!

Thin Lizzy, Lynerd Skynerd, XTC, Tony! Toni! Tone’!, The art of noise, A tribe called Quest, The Velvet Underground, Sex Pistols, Iron Maiden, Devo, Dead Kennedys.

FYI the Beatles came up with their name based on their love for Buddy Holly& the Crickets. They wanted an insect name along the line of Crickets and settled on The Beetles, eventually changing it to the Beatles. I think they made out alright with it!
