This time of year brings weather changes, holidays,

memories and mixed emotions.

Post songs, videos or photos for the seasons or holidays.

Either meaningful or just plain fun.

No particular order. Don't worry about repeats.

Lot of old and great songs. In all my years I have never heard a song about Thanksgiving, and I think it is 3 on here so far.

As for the old song I'll say "Frosty the Snow Man. As for the new, well you all have heard it many many times, All I want for Christmas is You

My of my favorite versions of Silent Night remains this one by Stevie Nicks.

Winter wonderland, Johnny Mathis

First song from his Merry Christmas album.

When Mom put this on, we knew the season

had officially arrived. Brings back fond family

memories. Years later, my grandmother gave

me this album knowing how much I loved it

When I read this post about two weeks ago, I remember thinking that, for me, Christmas season began when I heard Gisele Mackenzie sing, “Silent Night”. Then I realized that Gisele is largely unknown today, but I did find this copy of album, which is as old as I am! In retrospect, it’s an odd little album - with some songs sung partially in French, but it brings back fond memories for me. ….all these years later, I still play the same scratchy LP.

Christmas in Dixie - Alabama.. Not a "traditional" Christmas song I suppose but I love how the lyrics seem to include everyone and most every different area of our nation.. Great message about how we are alike no matter where w live..
