                  Wolverton Mountain:  Claude King  (A likely future crime. Young man sets off to climb the mountain to claim his love, though he might die at the hands of a gun and knife wielding, angry, protective father. Good luck with that).

                    I remember when that song came out. It was played on our local radio station ad nauseum! If I heard it again, it would be too soon! 😂

                        ElPaso:  Marty Robbins  (He kills a guy in a gunfight over a young girl. Then, to make matters even worse, he steals someone's horse and flees the scene. Stealing a horse ranked with murder back then. A third crime was committed when he was gunned down by a bunch of cowboys. The path of true love rarely runs smooth.)
