Any song that has One in the title: One - Three Dog Night One Toke Over the Line - Brewer & Shipley
I don’t remember doing this subject. If we did, it was years forever ago. 😸There should be a lot of these songs, titles or lyrics with jobs or occupations, etc. Journeyman - Blackmore’s Night Journeyman - Iron Maiden From Wikipedia —- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JourneymanThe term "journeyman" was originally used in the medieval trade guilds. Journeymen were paid daily and the word "journey" is derived from journée, meaning "whole day" in French. Each individual guild generally recognised three ranks of workers: apprentices, journeymen, and masters. A journeyman, as a qualified tradesman, could become a master and run their own business, but most continued working as employees.[3]
So how many songs can you name with Food or Drinks in the Title or Lyrics.. This is a resurrected title. Original posted 2012 and I figured it was time for a re-run.

We all know them.. those sad sad songs that make us want to cry but that we love to listen to
We have all posted a funny video in many topic threads. I thought it might be nice to have them in one location to view when we needed a good laugh. (I sometimes forget which ones were funny and there are sometimes many versions of videos). So, list those you posted in other threads or new ones you find. Or ones you like that are funny and never got to post in a certain topic thread. One of my favorites: Foo Fighters - "Learn to Fly " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VQ_3sBZEm0 I changed the topic title. Any funny music video is good.

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

My contribution to Colorectal Cancer Awareness month, my blog and associated playlist so aptly titled "Bottoms Up". Remember 45 is the new 50. Get that colonoscopy. And for those under 45, watch for symptoms, as colorectal cancer rates are rapidly rising in younger folk...https://listentothemusicblog.com/540-2/
Hi ALL! Beatles fans worldwide have more exciting great news....Sir Paul McCartney has said AI ....artificial intelligence....has been used to help create what he calls "the final Beatles record". He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the technology had been used to "extricate" John Lennon's voice from an old demo so he could complete the song. "We just finished it up and it'll be released this year," he explained....to be a 1978 Lennon composition called "Now And Then". It had already been considered as a possible "reunion song" for the Beatles in 1995, as they were compiling their career-spanning Anthology series. Sir Paul had received the demo a year earlier from Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono. It was one of several songs on a cassette labelled "For Paul" that Lennon had made shortly before his death in 1980. Lo-fi and embryonic, the tracks were largely recorded onto a boombox as the musician sat at a piano in his New York apartment There were also said to have been technical issues
Any song that has roads, bridges, highways, tunnels, trails, streets, avenues, boulevards, etc. in the title. Seven Bridges Road, Eagles This song was written and recorded by Steve Young, and is about a real road in Montgomery, Alabama, that crossed seven bridges. ""Hope I die before I get old," sang 21-year-old Roger Daltrey in 1965—and 43 years later, he's still singing it. Rock 'n' roll has always been invested in a Byronic cult of blazing youth and beautiful corpses. But as tyros have turned into reunion-tour warhorses, rockers have had to come to terms with the ironies—and the indignities and the glories—of old age." What are the songs that talk about getting older, looking back, etc?
On the eve of February 3, 1959 – “A long, long time ago, I still remember how that music used to make me smile… but something struck me deep inside the day the music died.” Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson Jr. were killed in a plane crash on that cold winter day. And though a part of music died with them, one of the redeeming, saving graces of music is that it lives on long after bands break up and artists pass on. Their music, if meaningful and special, is timeless and forever. And even if we know longer listen, the songs often live on in our minds and hearts. I find it simply amazing that I didn’t tackle the word music until this past month. Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. A blog of music about music, if you will, or of songs with the word music in the title, seems only natural. There’s no emotion that music can’t address. I believe it’s what draws us to music over and over again. And think of those songs that immediately bring

In honor of New Year’s Day, the beginning of a new year, I thought I’d share a playlist offering new beginnings. Wikipedia relates “the first of January represents the fresh start of a new year after a period of remembrance of the passing year.” On those years we’d rather forget, with luck and effort we may use the new year as an opportunity to begin again. Modern tradition encourages New Years resolutions, whereupon reflecting on our failings and shortcomings of the previous year, we commit to making changes usually with a goal of self-improvement and greater achievement in hopes of having a better upcoming year. Whatever our needs, goals, hopes, and dreams, it seemed that some of the lyrics of begin and beginning songs might offer us some encouragement and support in our efforts, not to mention be enjoyable songs to listen to, with offerings from Emerson, Lake & Palmer, The Moody Blues, Genesis, Chicago, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Colbie Caillat, Ingrid Michaelson, Taylor Swif
