GREAT COVERS OF YOUR FAVORITE SONGS

For many an original song that they love cannot and will not ever be duplicated by a cover, but there are many songs that have been done equally (debatebly) well by others..

So do you have favorites?

What are your favorite covers of favorite songs?

Shouldn't mess around and do Beatles songs, although some covers are good. Sorry @BeatleloverKT , but I really think this version is very good.

Thanks. Appreciation of a cover does not take away from the original. I still love the Beatles version. 😊

Child In Time - Sina, ft Rob Lundgren, Andrei Cerbu, & Friends, Deep Purple cover

This song is a monster of a song, and I never thought anyone would ever cover it and do it justice. Few have even attempted it, but these kids have done it! I don’t know who they are, or where they’re from, but they are exceptional musicians. I’m blown away! 🙀

                        Oh Well - Deep Purple

                        Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green) cover

                        https://youtu.be/lTfNINPcjU8

Their new album is all covers, hence the title, Turning To Crime. They haven’t done covers since the 60’s!
It has the bones of the original, but the feel is totally Purple. 💜😎

One of the few Fleetwood Mac songs I like sounds even better.  That first verse could go in the Opening Line topic too.
