She was 79.

Olivia Newton-John died today at 73 from cancer.

Lamont Dozier died Monday at 81. He was part of the song writing team of 

Holland-Dozier-Holland who wrote dozens of hits for Motown records.

Jerry Allison, the drummer for Buddy Holly & the Crickets has died. He was 82.

His 3rd album “Born to run” by Bruce Springsteen

was released on this date in 1975. That’s 47

years ago today. Boy do I feel old! 😂

Ramsey Lewis died on 9/12. He was 87.

Elvis, the new movie is available for streaming on HBOMAX. I enjoyed watching it. The actors are excellent in their roles. The creators took a few liberties with the facts, but not enough to affect the overall quality of the movie. I gave it 8 out of 10 stars.
