Truly sad hearing this, this morning.  I remember the day my mother exclaimed proudly that she had her own credit card in her own name.  For women not to need a man’s written permission of okay to own checking accounts and credit cards. OMG!   Gloria Steinem was someone I remember with gratitude.  I know of some men who sort of huff when they hear her name even still… Thank you Ms Steinem.  Grateful for your existence.
