Ted Turner, CNN Founder and a leader of the "24 hour news cycle" has left us at age 87, following almost decade long suffering Lewy Body Dementia (LBD).

While not esteemed by all, for me it was the shift in our American ignorance when he brought so many wrongs to light.

Safe travels, Sir. Thank you for everything you did, but more importantly, what you could have done but chose morally not to!
