ART AND ROCK N ROLL

Hi

I read an article this
morning about an art show in Miami and the beginning of the
article made me think about all of the great art associated with
rock and music.  Album covers, concert posters, the
photography work of people like Linda Eastman McCartney and
thousands of others.

Think about it  and
lets talk : )

Remember this one, from Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass--I used to love his instrumentalsWhipped Cream

Yes  that is one album I am going to have to go and re-visit  it was a total departure from anything else that was out at the time for me   and this album cover is in the classic listing  and deservedly so

Do you still have album covers?

No , I don't have any left after moving a few times etc, but there may be some left at my mom's I'll have to ask her. Great photos though posted. MaryAnn

      Hi

Ya same here, melted the records one hot summer in the attic and they got tossed out.  Should have kept the covers but tht's life eh?

Anyway, the good thing is they can still be had via ebay and others and some would be well worth it : )

The art work is thanks to Betsy.

I made the mistake of selling all mine at a yard sale when I was moving and didn't have room for the stereo. I just kept cassettes (this was pre-CD)--what a big mistake! Ones I miss most are Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Ketelby, a belly dance album. I also had Abbey Road and the first Olivia Newton John country album. I DO still have all the 45's though! (just nothing to play them on)
