Every day I get an email from AARP with the subject “Don’t forget! Finish setting up your AARP membership”. I have been a member for years, and am paid up until 2031. Why am I getting this email every day and how do I stop it? Thank you!

    Okay, thank you. It just confused me, it seemed like they were addressing me as a new member. Again, thank you, appreciate your response!

    @robin24

    I know, I felt the same way.  I’ve been a member for as long as I can remember, even though my online presence here has been a shorter time.  I figured after a year here it should’ve gone away. But no.   So finally decided to act upon it.  Nothing major but still a pain!

    I just got rid of that one @robin24

    I followed it through with the link and it’s just letting you know about the app, extensions, and other things.  I skipped through it or said no, I don’t remember on the features they wanted to tell you about.

    Otherwise,  to get rid of other pesky ones, go to your name above, and then account or account details, or you can go directly  to Communication Preferences, there you’ll find a section to limit your account reminders to renew your subscription .  Also you can go all the way to the bottom of the website page, locate the footer all the way at the bottom that says privacy hub, as well as your privacy choices, and utilize that.

    But that pesky finish setting up your account email was just a finalization to let you know about the other features.  I had been getting it for a long time till I followed the link and moved on what they wanted to show me.  All gone now as well as tweaked the other settings I mentioned above.
