Membership for Senior over 100 years old

Is there any special membership rate for seniors over 100 years old - I am my siblings have memberships, but our mom doesn’t and I am wondering if it would be worth her while on her extremely tight budget.

    Hi @smthomas

There isn't a special membership rate for members over 100, but I completely understand wanting to make sure it's worth the cost, especially when your mom is on a tight budget.

AARP membership starts at $15 for the first year with automatic renewal which is the best value.

One thing to keep in mind is that AARP memberships include a free second household member, so if your mom lives with an existing AARP member, that's an option worth looking into. Otherwise, she can have her own membership and take advantage of the available benefits and discounts.

Many members find that using just a few discounts each year, whether on dining, travel, prescriptions, or everyday purchases, can easily help offset the cost of membership. You can learn more about the benefits and membership here: https://www.aarp.org/membership/

And I have to say, reaching 100 years old is an incredible milestone. Please give your mom our best wishes and congratulations! 🎉😊
