My son is an AARP member. He is also incarcerated. The problem is that his state ID number is not being printed on the AARP Magazine mailing label, so hes not getting the mags. They are being returned due to missing information. His state ID# is on the AARP account, why is not being printed on the mailing label?. If he can’t get the magazines, I will not ontinue the membership. Due to his current situation, the magazine is the only benefit for him. If he can get it, then I will not keep paying for his membership or mine     His name is Samuel  Byrd, Membership# 351 621 983 3

Hi, Samuel!

I checked my AARP magazine labels; they don’t have a second line for “line 2” of address (in my case, apartment number shows up on same line as address).

Not sure if that’s where his state ID is included in AARP account, but if so, perhaps state is not checking at the correct position; maybe reverse those two fields)?

If more assistance is needed (to contact facility officials, state reps), I’m more than willing to help!

Also, I’m more than happy to forward my copies in the format they can understand (at my expense for postage) if that would help… I’m not being “altruistic”, just honest; my Dad died on the day of his parole of heart attack after 10+ years and I will never forget or forgive (the officers drove him back to the prison instead of a nearby hospital)…

Anyway, please DM if I can assist in any way, Samuel,
