Insurance options for early retirement

II am currently on Medicaid but I am also eligible to start taking Social Security (62). If I take SS my income will disqualify me for Medicaid and I don't qualify for Medicare either. Where can I go to see what my insurance options are? Thanks, Gary.

P.S. In the last 5 years I have had a Heart Attack, Stroke and Kidney Failure (AKI) I'm also diabetic and take 20+ pills a day plus 2 shots a week. I live in Illinois.

Depending on how much your early retirement Social Security turns out to be, yes, it might disqualify you from Medicaid coverage.  

 

Your option is the ACA or Obamacare - You can start here:

With all those problems clearly you need health insurance and you may need to choose medicaid over SS. While not an immediate solution you might want to apply for social security disability. Your kidney failure may be a fast tracked one if you get dialysis or fulfill several other conditions. Then you can get medicare prior to 65. The other thing that would help is how much SS you finally get at 65. 

It's called Compassionate Allowances (CAL) program which means they are supposed to approve you within 30 days (although with the shutdown and all the firings who knows). Look here to see if your kidney issue is on the list.
