Discussion about Xarelto disappeared ???

I got an email notification of a reply to a thread about Xarelto and went to the link to view it, and it wasn’t there. I thought maybe the poster changed his mind and deleted that post, because it looked like they were quoting AI that wasn’t accurate. (It said it’s “carefully engineered as a single, extended-release tablet” and that’s not the case.)

But now I can’t find the thread at all, including MY posts in it.  I certainly didn’t delete any of my posts.

Does this happen?  Entire threads just go POOF without any evidence they were ever there?

Hi  @TRL1111, I want to clarify what happened here. Community discussions don’t simply disappear on their own. In this case, the discussion was flagged and our moderation team took appropriate action based on the information available at the time.

When an entire discussion is removed, all replies within that discussion are also removed from public view. That includes replies from members who did not create the original post, which is why you could no longer find your responses.

I understand how that could be confusing, particularly since you received an email notification before the discussion was removed. Those notifications are automatically generated when activity occurs and may already have been sent before moderation action is taken.

After further review, the conversation has been restored and can be found here: restored post.

Moderation sometimes requires judgment, and situations like this help us continue to improve our processes. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and giving us the opportunity to take another look.

Yes it happens.  And talking about it can make this one do the same, lol!

Wow.  Forums like this depend on people volunteering their time to make contributions.  I guess it’s a good reminder that I have no control over what the forum sponsor does with what I produce.  I do wish they wouldn’t just make things vanish without a trace because it’s like gaslighting.  Fortunately, I have the email that quoted a reply (or part of it--I’ll never see the full reply) to make me know I wasn’t imagining the whole thing.

Oh well, all requests for help will soon be answered only by people quoting AI, so there’s not much point in it anyway.
