What Is or Was Your Favorite Halloween Candy?

Being from the Philadelphia area, you can't beat Peanut Chews.

There are way too many to favorites to list.  I like the Indian corn but not so much regular candy corn.

They used to make Milkshake Candy Bars (similar to Zero Bars but malted flavor) and the best frozen candy bar!

Being from a family of 5 boys, we used to have pillow cases as bags, my Mother would let us keep a few of our favorites, would divide the rest up by type, and hide it, putting a little bit in our lunches for school.  All we had to do is watch her, and could find where she hid it, as she was eating it as well!!

Anything chocolate. When my children went trick-or-treating, they would dump their candy on the floor to see what goodies they received. I would then ask them if I may try a piece or two to “check for poison.” It always worked!!.

Not swept under the rug I don’t think.  That’s a bit off topic from favorite candy so I’ll end there.

We do have the parents who have drinks in their hands.  Some houses give out wine, but I find that to be irresponsible.  Then we get the parents who have a bag wanting us to put candy in it as well for them, saying it’s for a child at home who’s sick.  Heard that one too many times!
