pickleball events and clinics

Last night a local AARP manager in PA spoke about aarp pickleball in the area but I do not see of events or clinics anywhere from aarp in our state. What am I missing?

      Once again, the info shared from AARP was incorrect. Also, emailing, messaging, calling is a waste as nobody ever gets back. I give up. BTW, I belong to three PB groups/clubs. I was just following up on the info given last evening. I should have known better. Thanks to all who gave me the real info.

        Thank you. The list only runs alphabetically through NY and never gets to PA. I find most of these AARP events to be difficult to find and even more difficult to navigate. As a former CIO,,I am usually not challenged by systems, technology.

            Hi ​@anoldmetgeneral , Am I understanding your question, that the particular Pickleball event that was held in your area wasn’t listed on AARP’s website?

            Hi ​@SereneSeagull and ​@anoldmetgeneral. I’m adding to Jen’s response, not every AARP pickleball event or activity is open to the public or listed on our public events calendar. Some may be held for specific groups or audiences and therefore would not appear as an event available for general registration.

             

            For pickleball events that are open to the public, the links Jen shared are the best places to check for opportunities in Pennsylvania and your local area.

I found a few events in Oct/Nov in PA but the events are already full. If you want to continue to search you can try our events link using your zipcode and the keyword pickleball. https://www.aarp.org/events/find/. You can also keep tabs on all the happenings in the state through their state web page: https://www.aarp.org/states/pennsylvania/. Let me know if you need additional assistance.
