Have enjoyed reading for "pleasure" from childhood.

Mother was a teacher and also the Nancy Drew series provided a way to ESCAPE.

Now in retirement, I am into audiobooks. Depending of what is going on in my life determines my selection.

Cozy mysteries so far.....

I listen to Audible since I am on the road alot. And I listen to a variety of topics: aging and self help, murder mystery, romance, crime... anything that catches my eye at the moment.  Costs around $15 a month with 1 free book of your choosing. They have specials: buy one get one, and free books. I've been with them for several years and love it!!

@Anonymous no reply necessary, please...

I've preferred Nook or e-reader format for at least a decade; I chose that as I'm a cigarette smoker and realized it contaminated paper with smell.

That's my preferred format.

My preferred authors have been Hunter S Thompson, Agatha Christie and whomever equaled these wonderful writers...

Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss was a funny book about punctuation of all things.  The title's meaning changes if you leave off the comma.  Eats shoots and leaves describes what a panda eats.  I think it was panda.

Hi, I'm  currently reading 'Hello Beautiful' by Ann Napolitano.  I'm halfway through and so far, it's really good!

Well, I finished 'Hello Beautiful ' on the 26th and I would definitely recommend it. It was an 'emotional roller-coaster' type of book.

Hi All,

Th Night Swim was very good.  I'm about to start 'The House Across The Lake by Riley Sager.

Anyone have any good books on their nightstand?

Hi Ann @AnnB53123 :

I prefer to buy my books but will use the library IF it is a NEW book

Into "audiobooks" this year and still figuring best way to listen.

I have used the library's site, Audible and YouTube so far.

Hi Ann @AnnB53123 :

I really ENJOY mysteries with "furbabies" 👍

Anyone else a FAN of "The Cat Who Series by Lilian Jackson Braun"?

***A series of 29 mystery novels featuring a reporter named Jim Qwilleran and his Siamese cats, Kao K'o-Kung and Yum-Yum. 🐈🐈***
