My all time favorite movies have been..For Richer for Poorer; Wild hogs, Mrs. Doubtfire, Patches, Avatar, Way of the Water, Hootch, Opportunity Knocks, and Tommy Boy to name a few. My current favorite series show is..Party of Five. :)

I've been watching Anna Pigeon on USA. I've been a fan of Tracy Spiridakos since her Chicago PD days.

Also watch Deadliest Catch. So sad to see a crew member die after falling overboard.

Lol, already "warned" EVERYONE (including the cat), NOT to bother me tonight. Why? One of my favorite PBS series (Marble Hall Murders) starts a NEW SEASON here in Virginia at 9pm ET. Unless they (humans,cat) are dying or my apt is on fire - my total FOCUS will be watching PBS.

Just did this binge? "The Following" is amazing show; 3 seasons, 15 episodes each. Kevin Bacon was good; not stellar but good; plot was amazing.

Done with this "new" and "improved"... kinda like dotard improved America...

Well Denese @WebWiseWoman , I had to "skip" Grantchester TONIGHT as my old lady (2006 Hyundai Elantra) needed a jumpstart. Had been dead since Friday & my next door neighbors helped out at 9pm. Then I had to drive to keep the charge. Got back & brake light stayed on = aha, reason for dead battery maybe. Anyhow, a teen disconnected the NEGATIVE battery cable to hopefully save on charge. Light is now off. Mechanic only works Mondays thru Thursdays. So 6am ALARM set to call as soon as they open. Hoping they can work on it tomorrow, I need groceries.

So sorry to hear about your "old lady" 😉 I gave up driving just before COVID so haven't had to worry about Bessie (my old reliable jeep) or spend money on that at least.

Actually watched the entire season already; episode 2 was okay but next week (episode 3) be sure to watch; it's very emotional and endearing, imo.

Our PBS (VegasPBS.org) rebroadcasts Grantchester (or whatever the current Masterpiece program is) early the next morning (1 AM PT), then again on Thursday (11:15 PM), and finally on Fridays (3:00 AM), so perhaps your local does too?

Let me know if you want a recap of epi 2.

Sleep well and fingers-crossed for the "old lady" to be up and running like a Swiss clock - very inexpensively, tomorrow!

Now, NO ONE has replaced Sidney (the 1st one) and I do get to see him AGAIN & AGAIN thanks to Prime adding PBS Drama to their service.

Just an aside (and promo for PBS), I donate $5 per month to local PBS station and have access to all the seasons of Grantchester (and many other great shows) via PBS Passport.

Only $0.99 less than PBS/Masterpiece on Prime but same shows available and a worthy cause, imho...

Yes, @WebWiseWoman - having PASSPORT access on PBS is awesome. At the moment I have no spare change as my Retirement Social Security is it each month. NOT complaining, grateful. I use the FREE Android PBS app to watch certain shows. NOT a fan of sitting in front of TV, so have NOT had one for over a decade. But for Grantchester, I will sit for that hour. 😉
