Love the AARP Recipe Videos

AARP — Would love to see more AARP recipe Videos!  🙂  They are really well done.  Short, to the point, and an exciting way to demonstrate each step.  Excellent close up videos that keep you interested in the entire demonstration.

If you ever get the chance to create a print option that displays in recipe format, that would be great.  For now I just use the Snipping tool when on the computer, or print from the screen on Tablet.

Keep ‘em coming!

Hi @SereneSeagull. Thank you for the kind words and for watching our recipe videos! 🙂 We have several available, and we’d love to know which ones you’ve been enjoying. Was this a cooking demonstration event or a video you found elsewhere on AARP’s website? If possible, please share a link so we can take a closer look.

We also appreciate your suggestion for a printable recipe format. Thanks for sharing your feedback! Which recipe did you make?

Hi @Jen , I don’t have the links, but one I watched the other day in particular was Baked Eggplant Parmesan.  I’ve never “knowingly” had eggplant, nor have I prepared it.  Never really was interested in it, turning my nose up to it actually.  Lol.  The video really piqued my curiosity.  Seemed simple enough.  And I was able to talk a family member into trying it with me!  So might actually buy one now.

The other recipe videos were, Grilled Corn Salad, and one on Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes.

Sometimes these have a written recipe, sometimes not.  But always, the videos are done really well.  Love the filming technique, where it’s not just a person talking, but the actual action of the ingredients being put together in a close-up manner.  And the background music, to me, at any rate, evokes a happy feel to it.
