I cannot find a forum to discuss issues related to the governance of the USA and the election we're soon having. Is it I who can't find it? Or is it AARP that isn't providing it?

 

If the latter, shame on AARP!

      AARP cancelled all political type discussions several years ago - 2021, I think.

      Most all the boards are headed with a sticky note from the AARP powers that be which say “Political discussions are not permitted unless they directly relate to [the topic].

       

      Sorry - but it is their community and thus their rules of participation.

       

      You can find many of the old group from here on Reddit under Bluewave_Facts.

      That’s the newest one since some of the others have even been shut down on Reddit.

      Thank you, @GailL1, for you lucid reply resulting in my perceived conclusion:

      “if the latter, shame on AARP!”

      The presumption that an association with the age of fifty as a requirement to join regards members as adults capable of any and every thing is a demonstrable fallacy.

       

      Shame on AARP!
