Morning,

It is so nice to know AARP has a group I can connect with in this time of need.

Thank you,

I lost my husband, Mel, in November 2021.  It's a lonely life. My heart goes out to you. Just know, you are not alone!  I'm beginning to believe it's a journey that doesn't end; maybe it softens.  I'm just so sorry you are on this journey with so many of us.  Susan

Hi Deborah, I’m really glad you found this space. It can feel so isolating at first, but being around people who get it really helps. Take your time and don’t rush the healing - some days will feel heavier than others, and that’s okay.

Hi Deborah,

Sorry for your loss. I know how you feel.  My husband passed away in March of 2021.  There are still times ...

Hi Deborah. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Happy that you found this community, connecting with people who just get you really can help in making the road less travelled a tiny bit less lonesome.
