Mary Ellen ( @mr6784 ), it sounds like you and your brother shared such a special bond. Having someone you could talk with several times a week and turn to for support, especially while caring for your husband, must have meant so much. Anniversaries like this can bring so many emotions and memories back to the surface. Thinking of you as you remember your brother tomorrow, and hoping those wonderful memories bring you some comfort. ❤️

Dear Mary Ellen @mr6784 , I am so sorry for your loss dear friend!!! We will ALWAYS "miss" them, but each day we can "remember" them in OUR OWN WAY. What has "helped" me on those DREADED anniversaries of their death is to do something they "liked" doing. OUR GROUP has members who say "volunteering" on that day takes them out of their 4 walls. While the "tears & heartache" are still there, we get a "chance" to help others & be around others. NEVER feel "guilty" for your grief. He is looking down at you, luving you & SO PROUD of you "trying" to MOVE FORWARD. One Step At A Time! We are ALWAYS here for you to "listen & support". Sharing has helped me with my loss. Hope you will stop by to see us whenever you need us.

Luv,

Nicole 🤗🤗🤗 (Grief Forum)
