What Are The Levels Of Commenters On The Forums

​@nctarheel, thanks for asking! With our new Community platform, we have a new ranking system that recognizes users based on their participation and engagement in the AARP Online Community.

You may have noticed a rank and stars displayed on your Community profile. Ranks are a fun way to recognize your participation and engagement in the AARP Online Community.

Everyone starts at the Newbie rank and can progress through four levels:

• Explorer ⭐ → ⭐⭐⭐ You’re getting to know the Community and beginning to engage.

• Contributor ⭐ → ⭐⭐⭐ You’re joining conversations, starting discussions, and engaging with others.

• Conversationalist ⭐ → ⭐⭐⭐ You’re an active participant who regularly contributes to conversations and connects with others.

• Community Champion ⭐ → ⭐⭐⭐ You’re a longtime, highly engaged participant whose contributions are recognized by others in the Community.

There isn’t one single activity that determines your rank. Your rank reflects a combination of Community participation over time, which may include:

• Visiting and participating in the Community

• Starting discussions

• Replying to conversations

• Giving and receiving likes

• Staying active over time

As your participation grows, your rank can grow with you. No need to track points or specific requirements—just keep connecting, sharing, and participating in the Community.

Tip: Quality participation matters more than trying to reach the next rank. Join conversations that interest you, share your experiences, and recognize helpful contributions from others.

I am not sure why my question has yet to have a response. I would think that the HELP FORUM would be closely reviewed on a daily basis so that questions or problems would be resolved quickly.

I am eager to see if you get a response to your query - not so much the answer but IF and When the powers reply or not.

I am also having problems with trying to see if there are any responses to something I might post about (recently) since I do not stay signed in at all and don’t get any emails - 

It also bothers me that they are reposting things on some of the direct subject boards that go back 4-years or more - From some that I have seen, they aren’t scrutinizing these old post much just hitting a button to bring them into current day - then when you look at the date of the original, it goes way, way back.
