I did a quick search on previous discussions …seems to happen each year.

    I've chatted with a live agent who checked with her supervisor and told me that the calculator is down for maintenance and they do not have an estimate on when it will become available. I asked if it will be days, weeks or months. She said they do not have any estimate. This was as of 5/21/2026.

      Having the same problem for about a week now.  Got this response from the chat "The tax calculator is being updatedand is not available at this time. Youcan go to irs.govand use the taxcalculator there if needed.".  Looks like we need to wait.

        Linda @LindaH96750 , have you called the AARP Customer Service? I avoid the Chat & Text options as they are AI. They are OPEN weekdays 8am to 8pm ET. Good luck!

        From this page, there is no calculator available. Yes, I'm logged in. I've tried Firefox & Edge with no success.
