How to remove messages from AARP website inbox

Subject pretty much says it. I don't see any option for removing/deleting these messages.  I am using the Chrome browser.

      Same question.  Don't see any way to delete.  Wondering if the oldest messages will automatically delete over time.  Will begin to track.  Thanks.

        Hi @ johnnewton01, you can delete messages one at a time as you read them, or in bulk from your Inbox. Here are the steps to delete a private message:

         

        1. Sign in to the community.
        2. Click the message count or envelope icon to go to your Private Messages Inbox.
        3. To delete a single message, click the message to view it and then click Delete.
        4. To delete all messages, click the Options menu (or the 3 dots located the top left-hand side in top of the messages)and click Delete All.

             If you are on your phone, swipe right on the email you want to delete.

         

        FYI - The suggestions above don't work as there are no "3 dots" or a delete option when using a Chrome browser as suggested.

        Are you talking about post you make on THIS community site under whatever subject - ?  No you cannot AFTER  there have been replies to your original post or your reply to a post. 

         

        Are you talking about what shows up in your email or private messages - then YES, you control that by your personal selections in your SETTINGS.

        There is no delete button no trash can icon and no 3 dots.

          Hello Sterg27, the 3 dots to delete all messages will appear under "Inbox". When you open a private message, the "Delete" button will show under the message, next to the "Reply" button. I'd recommend you to use a different browser if those options aren't showing for you. Based on previous feedback, Chrome works best. - Diana G.
