I just opened up, charged and connected my Bluetooth speaker to my phone.  Unfortunately the only sound that comes out of it is static 😞  It is connected but won't play sounds.  What should I do?

My Bluetooth speaker arrived yesterday and the volume button is not working properly and is so low no matter how I try to turn it louder. Who do I contact for a replacement speaker to be sent? Thank you in advance.

Same here. Followed instructions and it just keeps beeping after it connects. Judging by the size, the speaker in the cell most likely sounds better. Shame on you AARP.

At least a sound comes out of yours. Mine won't take a charge.

    Useless

Mine worked for a few weeks but now it tells me that I'm connected but I get nothing.  There's no reset button that I can find and even tried using the power and volume controls but to no avail.

    Now what AARP?

iI’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who got a defective speaker as a membership gift. Mine charges and pairs just fine, but the audio quality is terrible and very choppy. I wonder if anyone got their speaker to work correctly.

Hello, Janelle. I did go to the link you gave me above, and followed the instructions there, but  under the Preferences tab, there is no Private Messenger tab.
