Is there a way to "release" posts & threads that are OKAY per your "guidelines"?

With the OLD SITE you guys were able to do this when your SPAM DETECTION SOFTWARE "tagged" something as SPAM in error.

Do we send AARP Darryl an AARP Private Message (PMs) like we did with OLD SITE "asking" him nicely to "release" our material?

I am heading NOW to send him one as I just posted TWICE (same material) & NEITHER has shown up.

Thanks,

Nicole 💛🤗

@SummerOnTheWay1   Humor me here… you tend to re-quote a person’s post when you reply to someone.  This could possibly be the cause of the “spam” filter moderation holding them.  It sees it as a double post, and thinks it’s spam.  Try as a test when you reply to someone — maybe do several posts even, to see without requoting, or re-pasting from the person you are replying to and see if your posts get stopped or delayed.

It just may be the repeating of their post in yours make it appear as spam, because it gets repeated in another post.  Just a thought.  Could very well be something else, but you never know.  AI filtration sucks.  Really need humans.

Hi Serene @SereneSeagull , thank you SO MUCH for your "suggestions". The post I have an "issue" with DIDNOT "quote" anyone. Bottom line, if they DONOT "release" my material, I will be "exiting" this AARP Community Board like SO MANY have with this NEW SETUP. Sorry AARP, way too "busy" to be REposting material & hold my breath to see if it posts. Lol, Serene, hopefully this posts. Take care, Nicole!

I don’t know then, was a stab in the dark.

Yeah, feels pretty depressing and just a yuck type of feeling. Not stable place here, and doesn’t feel like a safe environment to be in. Not what they purport to be.  Mission statement got lost.

Serene @SereneSeagull , I agree with what you said about the HUMAN INVOLVEMENT. Every year it seems AARP wants "software" to interact with their members. Oh well, too old to be "fighting" with them to Care. We have "lost" the place to connect & have fun. I doubt things will get any better. We do APPRECIATE all that you do here for us. 👍👍👍 Take care, Nicole!
