Every few levels in Word Hunt, you will have an opportunity to guess an extra word that appears next to the crossword. It can be any number of letters – but each time, the word will have game money icons inside. You need to figure out this word to complete the level; but when you do, you get an extra game money reward!   Keep in mind, game money can be used to buy additional boosts when you run out: specifically, the magnifying glass that reveals one letter in the crossword, and the light bulb, which reveals one full word in the crossword.

In Word Hunt, you have access to two boosts. The first is the magnifying glass, which unlocks after level five and fills in one letter in the crossword when activated. The second is the light bulb, which unlocks after level 10 and fills in one full word in the crossword when activated.   There are several ways to get more uses of your boosts. Every ten levels you complete, you’ll get additional uses. Additionally, every time you guess 20 words that aren’t in the crossword, you’ll receive a treasure chest that contains uses of both boosts, as well as game money. You can use that game money to purchase an additional use of a boost when you run out. You’ll know you are out of boosts when the boost icons no longer show a red number, but instead show a price.

Theater Mode is coming to AARP Games, starting with Members-Only games. The new feature provides a full-width game play area on desktop and laptop, while conveniently keeping the browser bar open to navigate back.   Activating Theater Mode is simple. First, ensure you’re logged in, and your browser Zoom level is set at 100%. Then navigate to the Members-Only game of choice and click the “play now” button as usual. When the game is ready to play, you’ll see a special square icon in the lower-right corner of the game. Simply click that, and you’re ready to play! This is one of the toughest parts of Blockables, which is a tough game! Sometimes you know the answer to a clue, but it’s hard to tell which order to place the letters. In these cases, always put the first letter in the box with the clue number. From there, keep in mind that each letter must touch the previous letter in the word. After that, if you still have a few possible directions to go, you might not have an answer. You can guess and hope for the best – or you can move to another clue, fill out as much as possible, and see if the final clockwise or counterclockwise phrase starts to become clear. If it is, you can fill out the grid with that final phrase in mind!

Blockables has a handful of settings that you can toggle to customize your game experience. For instance, you can toggle colorless mode, which removes the color-coded nature of the grid; dark mode, which switches between a dark and light background; silent mode, which removes sound; and hide keyboard, which removes the onscreen keyboard.

How do I start a new game of Blockables? Simply visit the game page and click one of the daily puzzle buttons – either timed or untimed. There’s a new one each day! Since new jewels drop from above, the longer the jewels “travel” from top to bottom, the higher your chances are of getting auto-matches and earning free points. Use the magnifying glass Help button if you are not sure you’re making a good move. Clicking on the Help button several times displays all possible moves it does not have any score penalties. Bonus glowing jewels and Brilliant Jewels can be game-changers. The best strategy is to save them until you are running out of moves and then match them to clear more space. This will automatically create new move opportunities.

Coloring isn't just for kids — open up Coloring Book for Grown-Ups to create a lovely canvas and download it directly to your computer!   To begin, simply click here to launch the activity and click play — but first, you can click the buttons on the top right to toggle the sound and music.   Once you're in the game, you'll have some options (such as download, zoom, and reset canvas) on the right, as well as a palette of colors on the left. One of the best parts of Coloring Book for Grown-Ups, the new AARP activity that's perfect for relaxation, is that you don't have to say goodbye to your creations when you're done — or when a new black-and-white drawing becomes available the next day.   Downloading your drawings is simple. On the bottom right of the screen, just above the undo button (it looks like a curved arrow), there's a download button. The download button looks like a vertical arrow pointing toward a rectangle. Simply click that button and your drawing will automatically be saved to your downloads folder!   You can download your image as many times as you'd like — download it at various stages to see your progress, or try out several different color palettes to see what you like best!

Any suggestions for improving one’s score in Level 7 in Bubble Dragons Saga? Seems like an impossible task to gain all three stars. 

In Puzzle Pieces, each level provides a new challenge — and your strategy should change depending on the type of level you get.   Some rounds require you to get a certain number of points within a time limit. In those rounds, keep in mind that you don’t only get points for completing a pie – you also get points for the pieces in the two adjacent pies, which are then all destroyed. It’s a great way to score big! Some rounds require you to make a certain shape a certain number of times. In this case, it’s best to spread your most-promising pies around the board. If you have three nearly complete pies next to each other, and you finish the one in the middle, the two on the sides will be destroyed – and you won’t get credit for them! After every 3 moves, the “flower" ball will appear on the board. It always has a number that indicates how many balls you need to chain with the flower to remove it. In Twofer Goofer, the goal is to solve the clue with two rhyming words. When you succeed, you will see the image that represents the winning answer. In Today’s Hurdle, the goal is to win all five of the word puzzles. You’re going to want to plan your moves carefully, as the fewer guesses you need, the more points you get.   The score breaks down like this:   1,000 points for completion of a puzzle 100 points for each unused line So if you finish a puzzle on your fourth guess, you’ll have two unused lines — which means you get 1,200 points!   These rules are the same for all five puzzles — no one puzzle is more important, score-wise, than the others. However, you get an extra bonus for finishing the fifth puzzle, in which the board pre-fills with your previous four answers. You still get 1,000 points for solving the puzzle, and 100 points if you have an unused line. This time, though, you’ll get 4,000 additional points for winning!   If you want to maximize your score, you should try to finish each puzzle in as few guesses as possible. Don’t worry about taking time to think through the best path forward, though

While playing Crystal Collapse, you’ll often see a group of like-colored crystals with an animal marking on all of them. These special powers appear when a certain number of crystals are next to each other — the more crystals, the better the power!   When you click on this grouping, they’ll all condense into one special crystal. You can use that crystal to clear multiple other crystals (or logs, or leaves) nearby. But you can go even one step further with a combo!   Collapse a crystal into one of the animal powers, and then try to collapse another crystal into another animal power, so that the two powers are sitting right next to each other.
