I would like to understand why my score, at the first of the month, is never anywhere near the leader board scores. I'm usually in the list or close. Today they were all at 311,000+ and I only scored 11,000 some.

 

Why does my score start low every month, but not others? I play every day.

      Same here and always has the next day that I never played before. Have complained to Arkadium and AARP for almost a year. No satisfaction given as to why this happens

        Caticaboom, your 2nd issue of “...I never played before.” might be your browser is set to clear history/cookies on the 1st of every month. Perhaps check that and change it to another setting (I chose “Never” then go in periodically and delete those I don’t need).

        Ask a teen how inflated scores happen.  Eye opening info on how it happens.  Most kids know the cheats or how others do it.

        I have the same issue and have reported several times.

          This is due to time zones; the 1st of the month resets scores, beginning at 00:00 ET.

          So, for instance, that’s 09:00 PM PT so those scores haven’t reset. Anyone in PT playing before 00:00 PT retains the prior month’s score which posts to the leaderboard.

          (To be sure, some recognize this and play before 00:00 in their time zone just to see their name on the leaderboard.) But there’s really nothing Arkadium or AARP can do about the time zone differences.

          Several games are like this (monthly cumulative games).

            And as a tween once told me, time zone settings in some websites can be manipulated.

            Yup; anyone can change the time zone on their personal device and cheat at daily game scores but that’ll only work on the first of a month; and one needs to remember to change it back or be running late tomorrow ;)
