Blackjack — Hitting on 12 when Dealer’s Upcard Is a 10

I realize this is a video game, and in no way does it reflect casino play, and at times it’s laughable how it’s skewed ….

But for at least here, out of curiosity, how do you handle your own card play with a 12 showing against a dealer’s 10 upcard?

odds say hit a 12 -13-14-15-16 on a dealers dealers up card of 10. The assumption is they have a 20 so you have nothing to loose usually.

Yes, and I would do that in a casino, but it seems when I do stand here  I push against them, ending in tie, but when I hit on 12 I always bust

Edit to add:  And it’s practically every time hitting on 12 I bust.  Not like my cards stay under 21, but bust every time on 12.  And 12 comes up a whole lot.  No win situation

I always assume the dealer has a 10 in the hole.

I usuly hit 12-13-14, depending how the cards are running I may hit 15-16

Yes, I agree with you on that. At least for this video game, If I'm up quite a bit, I'll hit on 16.  Otherwise, I'll sit and let the dealer bust most of the plays.
