@j312596p, it definitely can be challenging! Is that what keeps you coming back, or are you still getting the hang of it? If you enjoy playing online, AARP Games has several Mahjongg games to choose from. Do you have a favorite yet?

@MargaretH923938, what a great way to get started! Are you still playing with your neighbor, or have you tried playing online too? If you’d like to practice, AARP Games has a whole collection of Mahjongg games you can try. Which version of Mahjongg are you learning?

I went on line to play Mahjong and was hooked.  Good on using your brain where things go.

I thought this was too hard to learn and only for people who knew what they were doing, very clique oriented.  It isn’t.  I was hooked the minute I started.  Advice-just try it. You aren’t playing against anyone, so no one to judge.

I agree ​@SharonT665155 . It’s also very good for eye-hand coordination, as well as memory recall.
