🏡 As You AGE - do you want to "grow old" where you are at the moment?

WE would luv to "hear" from you no matter how old or young you are. Maybe READ what other members have posted & leave a "comment" if you can. 😉

I have "steps" where I am & already having "knee" issues but plan on looking for my NEXT HOME before I CANNOT make it up my "steps". Not interested in a Nursing Home & NOT quite ready to move in with my only child (a daughter). While I "like" my neighbors, as I AGE I am "craving" QUIET. Ideally would luv to move into a Small Cottage with NO "steps".

      I have had both knees replaced, one hip replaced, broke the other hip, and I’ve already lost 3 inches off my height of 6’1. The height loss is due to developing scoliosis after having several spinal fusions. 

      I am looking forward to moving to a one-level house without stairs. My husband doesn’t want to move, so I may have to knock him unconscious while the movers move all of our stuff!

      I have a twenty-year-old granddaughter who is finally living in-state. Her father was in the military and kept getting stationed far away from us. So, we only saw her during the holidays and for a month in the summer. I have been so blessed that God chose to give my daughter another girl who is two years old! Her mother and we are very thrilled. Then we were blessed with another granddaughter by our son and daughter-in-law! Because of these three angels and our adult children, I want to age well!

        Eleanor ​@EleanorG447240 , lol - yes, men can be stubborn at times!!! Hope you get him to move. Yes, having "issues" with steps can be a MAJOR thing as we age. I am hoping to find something with NO "steps" inside or outside. 🤞
