As my cat tries to push her way onto my keyboard, reminding me to get busy with my weekend chores, it makes me think of all the songs and musicians with animals in their names.  This could be a long list!  I'll start with (musician) Eddie Rabbit (song) Cat's in the Cradle (originally by Harry Chapin) ( my cat made me choose that)

The Evolution of Well-being                             Outside the rec center adjacent to my condo building, a thick multi branched tree no longer has any blooms. It is a barren eyesore that I feel needs to be chopped down, but I (wheel-chair bound and afraid of trespassing) have no influence over that bleak reminder of our mortality.  Today, however, I noticed clusters of small buds on all of the tree’s limbs, buds that presage a renewal of the surging life-giving force that reanimates nature. My Mother’s Wrath Revisited I loved playing stickball with my friends. Most of the time, my backyard was our default. When it was my turn to bat, I inadvertently tended to whack the ball onto the inaccessible roof that covered all of the apartments. Each time I did so, my mother had to reimburse the ball’s owner. When the game was over, I trotted upstairs to our home to receive my mother’s reprimand: a solid lashing with her trusty leather and potentially lethal belt for every ball that I lost in the crevices of the roof. Neither one of us discussed our actions, although I felt that my mother’s fury was unjust and excessively cruel. He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the technology had been used to "extricate" John Lennon's voice from an old demo so he could complete the song. "We just finished it up and it'll be released this year," he explained....to be a 1978 Lennon composition called "Now And Then". It had already been considered as a possible "reunion song" for the Beatles in 1995, as they were compiling their career-spanning Anthology series. If you have Netflix and have updated your service to the new service plan, I suggest you keep an eye on your charges and payments. This morning, I realized that Netflix was still being paid for my old account as well as my new one under their new plan.  I called Netflix and they are taking care of it and deleted my old plan and said I should receive a refund in the next thirty days.
