December 7 is 'National Slime Day' at National Day Calendar and things are about to get slippery for the rest of the day. Today's National Day celebrates the slimy, slippery, and squishy pop culture goo that has been engaging kids (and adults) in play since the 1970s. Slime seems to capture the curiosity of children everywhere. If we are being honest, it also catches the curiosity of adults, too. In fact, slime is considered to be a favorite toy in many households. It seems people everywhere around the world are fascinated with slime. What is slime? Well, technically speaking, slime is neither a solid or liquid. It's both. Scientifically, slime is considered to be a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning the polymers in slime change depending on pressure. Without revisiting science class to learn about Newtons Law (again), we will summarize. Newtons Law relates to how an object moves or reacts to force or pressure. In other words, slime feels like a liquid until you begin to move
Christmas Oranges is a 2012 Christmas movie on Youtube. Very good!!
'Bathtub Party Day' encourages us all to skip the ordinary shower and linger in the tub instead. On December 5th, add some suds to the tub and pamper yourself. A bathtub party sounds suspiciously like a crowded affair, but it doesn't have to be. Granted, if you have young children, it's a time saver to plunk two or three of them in the tub at once. Getting them all suds up and playing with the water toys are some of the more memorable times raising children. It also saves water while everyone has some good clean fun. For the adults, the benefits of a quiet soak in the tub add up quickly. A steamy bath during cold and flu season helps to clear our sinuses and improve our oxygen intake. It also increases our circulation. The warm water reduces inflammation, easing achy joints and sore muscles. It also helps relieve stress. Dropping temperatures outside mean cold hands and feet, or just a chilled body in general. A soak in a warm tub warms us right up.
'National Sock Day' on December 4th recognizes the rarest of all lasting unities, the marriage of matched socks. When they find each other, wash after wash, dry after to dry, it's time to celebrate! The founders of the celebration turned the tables on other sock holidays. Such individualism generated was out of control. Days like National No Sock Day on May 8th and National Lost Sock Day (for shame!) on May 9th were rebels. To promote lasting sock matches, the observance dedicated the day to all pairs, even the tiny baby socks who manage to stay paired. We don't know if it's animal magnetism (static cling) or chemistry (something in the detergent), but these sock pairs deserve recognition! The day honors all matches made in laundromantic-matrimony. We will turn no color, style, or size away. So, Argyle to tube socks, knee highs, and fuzzy slipper socks - if they keep finding their mate over and over, this National Day wiggles its toes in their honor! HOW TO OBSERVE

Checked it twice. Looks like...you're getting coal this year.
I have fun when I'm just bored and critique commercials. Some just have really BAD acting or odd stereotyping and some just have a weird message. The latest one that drives me nuts is the one for the personal medical alert system. I also laugh when I notice that it's always a woman cleaning the toilet and on her knees while cleaning it with a long handled brush. At least they're good for a laugh!
Watched this on the big screen (with rabbit ears) today. We've made this part of our Thanksgiving tradition (4th Annual), because... It's hilarious! The host, John O'Hurley, is awesome. NBC's Thanksgiving Day special, 'The National Dog Show Presented by Purina®,' will crown one of the sport's great show dogs as 'Best in Show' on Thursday, Nov. 28, bringing canine competition and holiday family entertainment to millions for the 23rd straight year. A favorite snacking and party nut is recognized each year on November 23rd during National Cashew Day. The cashew nut is a seed harvested from the cashew tree. The tree originated in Northeastern Brazil. However, it is now widely grown in tropical climates for its cashew apples and nuts. With leathery leaves arranged spirally, the evergreen cashew tree grows as tall as 32 feet high and often has an irregularly shaped trunk. The flowers are small, starting out pale green then turning reddish, with each one having five slender, acute petals. The largest cashew tree in the world covers about 81,000 sq. ft. and is located in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Cashew Facts 🥔🐿️ The cashew tree has a fruit called the “cashew apple.” Its fragile skin makes it unsuitable for transport.🥔🐿️ Latin Americans make a fruit drink from the cashew apple.🥔🐿️ The Cashew causes fewer allergic reactions than other nuts or peanuts.🥔🐿️ Although native
On November 20th, National Absurdity Day reigns supreme. Oddness and weirdness take over. We're not sure why, but it does. Something absurd is extremely silly, ridiculous, or nonsensical. For example, thinking you can wear a bikini and flip flops to the North Pole is an absurd idea. Some synonyms for absurd include:bizarre, foolish, unreal, insane, fantastical, crazy, ridiculous, and strange. Throughout history, bizarre occurrences mark the calendar. This day was created as a day to recall and note some of the entirely off-the-wall and ridiculous things in history, in our country, and in our lives. 'Absurdity Day' is also a day to have fun and do crazy, zany, and absurd things. Use the day as an excuse to let out the silly antics hidden inside them. You can do things you have wanted to do that make absolutely no sense at all. HOW TO OBSERVE 'National Absurdity Day' Do whatever absurd things that pop into your mind. (Please keep safety in mind.) Well, we can't leave the guys out can we? Who are your favorite male singers of any genre? I'm not talking bands here but solo artists. Of course, if they were in a band and also went solo you can still name them such as Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora both of whom are members of the group Bon Jovi but have also gone solo. Here's some of mine from times past to the present: Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin, Brook Benton, Jerry Butler, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Johnny Tillotson, Donovan, Eddie Cochran, Gene McDaniels, Glen Yarborough, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Eric Clapton, and so many more. You may also name your favorite male singer from a band but not the band itself. For instance, we all know that Diane loves the band Aerosmith but she would say Steven Tyler.
Which do you prefer, songs about angels or devils? The song should have Angel or Devil in the title. I’ll start with: Devil in her heart Fab 4️⃣
