Ziplining

  Hello all,

 

I am a woman  in my early 70s and have the sudden desire to go zip lining, preferably in a forest.  Can anyone suggest a reliable place in the US?

      How exciting! I love the idea of zip-lining but have a fear of heights.  Went as far as driving to a zip-line in the White Mountains in New Hampshire.  Was just not ready which was a shame. I talked to a family who did it together and the saw a mother bear with her two cubs! Now to get over the fear of not having my feet firmly planted on the ground.

      How exciting this sounds! But may I recommend researching this deeply? There have been so many accidents reported recently involving aerial activities and somewhere there must be information regarding the effects of these activities on our bodies at different ages?

       

      As also "a woman in my early 70s", I would probably enjoy the same zip line if I were as brave as you Joanie! (there is one in Missouri that is purported to be one of the best-ZiplineUSA).

      You are right...I imagine the effects would be different, but if they are not radical I think I would chance it.  I am definitely not brave, but feel like experiencing things I have not been able to.

      Learning to ride a horse is another.
