Travel Discounts???

I genuinely don't understand why AARP Claims they provide members with discounts. I have never seen a genuine discount on any of my travels. The same prices are provided by a simple Google Search. There is absolutely NO discount. A group with the purchasing power of AARP should DEFINITELY be able to negotiate a significant discount for their users. Think of the access all these groups receive by our membership in AARP. I appreciate some of AARP's effectiveness in advocating for us, but this pretense that they our securing us travel discounts borders on a deception or a scam. In turn that calls AARP's credibility into question. So I have to wonder, why does AARP even bother with the pretense?

And that's exactly what is frustrating! ARO send ,I asume, millions of $$ on trying to get new members. But they seem uninterested in addressing concerns from their bread and butter clients. I would love to see more money and energy directed into helping and proving discounts accessible to their average customer. I am giving **SEIOIS** consideration to drop g my membership.  As Pensioneer, I pay close attention to the value I receive for my dollars. The truth is, AARP discounts just aren't accessible  to me. And they dont seem to be moving g the dial on political decisions either. It may be time for me to go.

Totally agree.  Lots of coupon codes with simple search engine sleuthing.
