Quality Inn Ocean City MD

The Quality Inn Ocean City MD that AARP recommended was the worst hotel stay I have ever stayed at. The room was very unsanitary. There was ¼ inch thick layer of filth on the air vents. Mold in the upper right corner, along the bathroom tub, along the floor, in the sink, the carpet was torn, there were holes in the walls, the shower hold bar was cracked so badly that if you held onto it, it might have cut you. The tissue box had a huge crack so if you would put your hand too deep in the box it would pinch you. The corner of the pillow looked like it had blood or a red stain of some sort. There constant noise fridge making a popping sound, people stomping above, traffic etc. It is by the far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Why AARP recommended them is beyond me. My husband and I now call it the “un-Quality Inn. I did write the hotel and I do have multiple photos of the awful condition of the room and all I received was “sorry” which is something but does not make up for a horrible stay. Offered to send pictures and never received a response to that.

SECOND TIME REPLYING [Sunday 9/20/26 5:25pm ET]

@mm1905 , if you are seeking a REFUND from Quality Inn, try reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Lol, I had posted a "reply" earlier to your thread (about 12pm ET I think) & it has NOT shown up. Maybe this 2nd reply will. 🙄 Good luck, Nicole!

Hi @mm1905 , Can you point me to where AARP recommended them?
Thanks.
