Hey Nicole,

I read this article before as, I too, am a member of AARP.

What drew my attention to this article is that it does not address the anguish caused by many of the providers of this type of insurance.

I have read a multitude of articles relating to insurance providers denying claims.

More importantly, I have also read about providers raising premiums so high that the insured can no longer afford the premiums, stop paying, and lose all they have paid before.

There are many senior advocates that advise seniors to shun this type of insurance policy due to the plethora of issues connected to them.
