Autistic adult coach or help

Hi.  I am new here.  I have a sister that i have been caring for since my mom passed on. She is close to 70 now and needs someone to guide her in the right directions and maybe help with finding a place to live.  I am older than she so what avenue can I pursue.  I live in North New Jersey.

    Hi there, @JM. I'm sorry you haven't gotten a response til now.  I have some ideas. I'd start with calling the 'area agency on aging' for north new jersey, specifically your zip code: https://eldercare.acl.gov/Public/Index.aspx. Call the agency that pops up and ask questions of them. There are services for elders regardless of diagnoses. There are also care managers who know about people with developmental disabilities as they age. Do call them and start your journey for planning ahead. There are also supports for you and her right now in your home-- they'll tell you about them.
