No companies actively seeking older experienced workers?

Disappointed.  There is no more AARP job board.  They have plenty of pages of ‘tips’ and ‘how tos’. But no actual job listings. They now claim to have ‘curated’ jobs with AARP and Indeed.  But on that page, there is no active link to these purported job listings…

The only link takes you not to indeed or any curated listings but to a page containing more tips and ideas about jobs.

Also, outside of AARP, I have looked at Workforce50, RetirementJobs, RetiredBrains, Seniors4Hire, and SeniorJobBank.   You may look at them as well, and see if your conclusion is different than mine: There are almost NO valid jobs on these sites, and they are little more than another assembly of ‘tips’ and ‘ideas’ for finding jobs.  Most of the sites look pretty outdated as well.

Are there really no job boards representing companies that do not age discriminate, or even better, companies that value and actively seek more experienced, more stable, employees?

    David ​@DavidD91878 , at age 68, I feel it all depends on what we have to "offer" a COMPANY. If we can "fill" a need = they need us. Consulting in my opinion is the way to go as we AGE out of the workforce. Yes, the youngsters "may" have the DEGREES - but NOT the "experience". Also, ALOT of older workers havd found a "niche" with MENTORING these "youngsters". There are ALWAYS jobs out there for us my friend. We have to search for them and/or create them.     ➡️[*** DAVID POSTED - I was corrected.  The page that I thought would link to the actual job board does not (see link in my previous message).  However, according to ​@SereneSeagull there is a link on the side margin in the Jobs section tab.   But anyway, the number of companies that proactively value the experience (and wisdom?) that comes with age are few and far between.  Seems like in my 20s, we assumed we paid less because we lacked experience and that older workers were more valuable.  Now have things flipping in some insidious manner?  Now that I am old, it seems that youth is valued over experience and I am once again told to take a back seat.  Bad timing on my part, I presume. : -)   Kinda funny, I guess.  I will be fine.

    ​@DavidD91878  — it’s maybe not there for you, but the Indeed Job Search Engine is there for me,  Just used it yesterday to see all the Job Postings AARP has open now, and the Salaries that are attached.  It’s on the side margin when you go to the Jobs section tab. Maybe only there for paying AARP members, IDK.

      (1) There are companies who WELCOME "older" job seekers.

      (2) AI is the way to go these days.

      (3) How old are you? IF over age 65, yes companies are going to "feel" you are going to retire soon.

      (4) What career field are you seeking? Sometimes it may involve CHANGING careers to snag a job these days.

      I maybe be wrong, but I "feel" gone are the days when companies ADVERTISE for "older" employees - if they ever did.

      At age 68 this month, I seek out CONSULTING GIGS. Also alot of Temporary Work Agencies do offer "assignments" that lead to PERMANENT JOBS.
