💼 How Did You Find Your Job? How Are You Keeping It?

Curious if anyone has any TIPS to share!!! 🤔

My daughter used the "online" sites when she got "laid off" in 2024. She now pays attention to things like making sure she UPDATES herself. In my "very humble" opinion, this is VERY IMPORTANT in today's Job Market.

Me at age 68, seek out Consulting Gigs geared to SOLVING any "issues" a LOCAL organization maybe experiencing. I find work by "knocking" on doors. Lol, just DONOT have it in me to do the "online" routine. This way I CONTROL my "retirement". Yes, retired at age 62 when COVID reared it's ugly head at the place I worked for years. Hated retiring EARLY, but between me being the "only" one showing up for work & NO work "safeguards" to PROTECT me from the public (clients) - it was time to go. Laid low for a "few" years, got bored & finally felt SAFE to mingle AGAIN.
