@WebWiseWoman   Thanks for this article. I find it very insightful and it fits in line with other research I've done on this issue.

 

I am reminded of an article I posted to a defunct AARP forum 5 years ago. This was published by the conservative Republican-based Ripon Society in 2019 and discussed the many benefits to the United States of providing foreign aid; and the very low cost that it took to do so. The article doesn't mention USAID due to the brevity of this illuminating article, but the food stuffs provided by USAID to other countries in need were bought where?  ...primarily from US farmers and producers.
