Rewarding Moments: What's one thing you want to do this summer?

I just celebrated my 70th with a group of 24 family and friends in Chicago. One of the weekend highlights was visiting the Obama Presidential Center. We had a blast!

Purge and redo our yard into a natural habitat with native plants and trees.

I want to be at my healthier sense of me and to feel a sense of self achievement.

This summer I have really gotten into bird watching. It’s amazing to see all of the beautiful winged creatures right in the backyard when I am really paying attention. 

 This is my first summer being retired. I'm enjoying every minute with my husband. We're spending time with the grandchildren whenever we can with trips to the pool, museums, or baking cookies. We just came back from a larger family trip to Bentonville, AR. In addition, I'm staying connected with friends from work (and reconnecting with others who retired ahead of me), enjoying time in my craft room, reading, writing, and watching HGTV or Hallmark movies. Life is good!

I will be heading to Cabo San Lucas with friends.   Looking forward to learning a little golf while I’m there.

Going to Surfside Beach SC  next week with family. Can't wait!
