I live in Phoenix, AZ and I would like to transform my front yard to all desert plants which are water-saving friendly. It's less upkeep and cost effective to have self sustaining plants. It's also a way to still enjoy greenery and flower blossoms all year long in the hot desert terrain here without breaking the bank or wasting natural resources.

it is very difficult to figure out if this is where I should be putting my post?

This summer I want to take a long bike trip. I have the Lamoille trail in Vermont in mind. I want to be able to carry perhaps a tent on my bike, stop when I get tired, and keep going onto the trail for the distance of the trail.

  Hoping to go to Canada, and do some biking. I need to research what area would cater do greater distance bike riding on a bike trail.
