If you aren’t used to the idea of devices that share information, that can all seem a bit intimidating to you. I assure you that it’s not, and it isn’t even that hard. Each of the fitness tracker devices that do more than track only steps offers a way to “sync up” the information from your wrist to your profile in their proprietary software. For instance, the Apple Watch feeds into the Apple Health app, which is what the AARP NOW app connects to. In the current version of the AARP NOW app on your iPhone, go to the "ACCOUNT" tab in the bottom navigation to opt-in to AARP Rewards. After opting in, select "Sync a fitness tracker." From here, you can sync Apple's Health app (or other fitness apps) by selecting it and giving permission to sync your health data. Your Apple Watch should already be linked to your Apple Health app. If not, here is Apple's help document on that topic: Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch -- Add information fro

Use these tips to score points for completely crosswords daily! Make sure you click the “Submit Score” button and get to the game end screen in order to receive your points! (Note: the “submit score” button does not show until the puzzle is filled in 100% and with no errors. If the puzzle is fully filled in and the “submit score” button does not appear, that mean there is an error(s) somewhere in the puzzle. Users can either review the puzzle to try and find the error(s) or they can toggle on the “show errors” option in the menu. If it’s just one or two errors, using “show errors” it should not affect the score enough to not meet the minimum threshold to get rewards points.) Remember - You can only earn points once for each game per day You can use the “Reveal” function to help with a letter or a word when you’re stuck… but use it sparingly! This feature will also knock off game points, which may affect you earning Reward points for that puzzle. Likewise, if y
GUT CHECK: Eat probiotic-rich foods three days this week June 1-7, 2020. A majority of the body's immune system is located in the gut. Deficiencies in good bacteria can inhibit the immune system from working at its best. The fix? Include probiotic-rich foods such as yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, kombucha, pickles and olives in your diet three days per week. Share your experience and a photo here for a chance to win a $100 gift card!
Week 4: SCRAP THIS FOR THAT: Try regrowing one food from your scraps this week (June 22-30, 2020). Some foods can be regrown in simply water and with exposure to sunlight. Try regrowing celery with the following easy steps: Cut off the end. Slice about 2 inches off the root end of a bunch of celery. Place the celery in a shallow glass bowl or jar of water. Watch it grow. After a few days, you should start to see small leaves emerging from the very center of the top. Replant in soil.
