When I go to redeem reward points the only option that is available is to send to a printer...which I don't have. How do I get the option to redeem the "coupon" to a smartphone? It is grayed out.

Complete all the extra credit activities in monthly activities to earn maximum points and to open additional rewards. Weekly news quizzes, syncing your fitness app, and staying sharp activities are also great ways to earn points.
Here's a tip the AARP Rewards sponsors might not like. I use the browser Brave now (instead of their preferred Chrome) which blocks the ads that often appear before the videos. You don't even have to "skip" them, they just never show up. I'm sure other browsers and ad blocking software would work as well. Saves time and annoyance. Max out faster. Also, open up videos in a "new tab". That way you can open up all the videos you want to watch and just move from tab to tab instead of back to to the list. Happy viewing!
MAX OUT DAILY
I maximize my points every day by watching the videos, completing the daily puzzles and doing the quizzes. I only redeem for the high dollar rewards that I'm sure I will use. I also make sure to add the bonus points that are provided in some emails as these actually let you go over the 7500 maximum points. Before I go shopping I check to see if the store I'm going to has an offer so I can save a few dollars. This is a great program.
Rewards Tip: Scheme, seek, and save with AARP Rewards.Starting in January, I have looked for Barnes and Noble Gift cards on the AARP Rewards site. With a combination of Daily Deals, for Points Only and a lucky Instant Win, I have accumulated $120 worth of cards, at a cost of $66; a cool $54 saving! Thanks, AARP Rewards! Why Barnes and Noble? For my grandchildren’s Christmas of course! Peek with me: Christmas morning, two piles of books wrapped in brightly colored paper under the tree; on each, a cuddly stuffed animal and an overfilled stocking. Can you hear the little ones’ shrieks of joy when they spot the presents under Grandma’s Christmas tree?
I love to bundle with other offers from merchants. My most recent was from Cold Stone Creamery, I had a Buy One/Get One coupon that I combined with a $5 egift card and was able to get a treat for my husband and myself for under $1
I view as many videos as possible. I answer the questions for as many quizzes as possible.
I bundle points by doing quiz, the exercise, watching how they prepare food, and I turn those points by entering the contest. Also, I have bought giftcards.
If you belong to other reward services/ programs bundle them together to get a bigger discount. I use my earned points towards places where I usually shop. ( cvs, Walmart, target Safeway). A few months ago I used points to get a $15 Omaha steaks card and soon after I received in the mail a $25 discount plus free shipping from Omaha, bundled them together and placed an order.
I'm saving my AARP points for the contests with the biggest prize awards. This gives me more chances to win the largest cash pots or gift cards.
Creating a password that is not only safe but easy to remember is always hard. There are still people who set their password to the default or something like password123. The easy way to create safe and easy to remember passwords is to create a statement or saying with letters and numbers. Here are some examples:Uhave4cats! Bee4Ugo2?BeforeUgo2!BefourUgo2it?Those8kitsRhard1sThe key is to make up a generic sentence or statement without any specific information about yourself and substitute numbers, misspelling, and special characters that are easy for you to remember. Also, I usually write it out first, then practice typing it on the keyboard to see how easy it is to type and remember. You may find some combinations that are difficult to type or remember.
If I'm buying something or going out to eat, I will first try and look at rewards section and see if there is a gift card that I can buy which can be 10% or 20% off which can save me few bucks or more. This is nice because if you're planning on buying something that's big or on a tight budget you will save few bucks or more in the long run.
I save up the $5 gift cards for Amazon, Walmart and Target which I have redeemed for points only on the AARP Rewards site. This year with my accumulated gift cards I bought a couple of times cat food for pennies at Walmart and Target. I also sent 2 wonderful presents to my grandson for his birthday and payed only $5.24! The rest was covered by the Amazon gift cards from the Rewards program. I still have enough of those cards to cover a portion of my granddaughter's presents for her birthday, which is coming up soon!Save those $5 gift cards to make a useful and meaningful purchase! They become more memorable and make you feel good! I hope this tip will help members. 😊By the way AARP, $10 gift cards would be mighty nice too...... That was another tip! 😀
