I had these and I also had โ€œAmerican Plastic Bricksโ€.  The bricks were pre-Lego, and came in a large cardboard tub.  I remember building houses and stalls for the little plastic Noahโ€™s Ark animal pairs that were a freebie from the gas station too!  This was way back, when everyone was encouraged to โ€œput a tiger in your tankโ€, and most gas stations had โ€œgive-alwaysโ€.  ๐Ÿ˜€

@LisaS961881 , I remember the freebie tiger tails that Esso (or was it Exxon by that time?) gave out to attach to your gas caps and show you had "a tiger in your tank". ๐Ÿ…

Oh goodness - yes!  It had a black loop to attach it to your gas cap.  We would get so excited when we saw another car that also had a tail hanging out of their tank ! The kids in the cars would wave at each other, and the parents would laugh and wave too.
โ€ฆ.And writing this just brought back another memory - playing โ€œcar bingoโ€ when we were on long road trips.   The game had thick cardboard cards with little plastic sliders that you would use when you spotted something like a train or school.  It really kept us engaged,

I think it was more to keep the little one's inside instead of keeping people out.

Would be nice if you at some point went back through these great relic's and tell us if we were right on the ones we guessed and inform us of the ones we don't know.
